v1.6.2ShippedOct 2026
Polish from the second round of floor testing
Quick sign-in: tap your name tile to log in. Names match no matter how they're capitalized ("fred" is Fred), near-misses ask "Is this you?", and two people with the same name are asked to add a last initial.
Everyone keeps their own setup: theme and text size are saved per person, with an optional personal PIN. Rename or remove people in Settings.
One status bar replaces the stack of banners: red for down machines, out-of-stock parts, overdue work and open system issues; yellow for heads-ups. Tap any chip to jump there.
Nudges from the office: the Always-On Dashboard has a Nudge button, and the shop sees "Office is asking about…" on Home. Mark Done is still there, smaller.
Parts sort themselves: out-of-stock first, then low, then everything else.
Import from anywhere: the spreadsheet import is now on the Machines and Recurring Tasks pages too.
Machine status changes show in History, and open system issues show in Needs Attention.
Projects: progress comes from Target qty + Log Progress (the office sees the %, read-only). The extra "date assigned" field is gone; the added date is automatic.
Look & feel: every theme gets a third accent color, Settings moved to a gear by Log Out so tabs fit on one row, themed scrollbars and date pickers, a softer background glow, even card heights, the logo looks right on light themes, and the walkthrough fits the window with new HD clips.
New "Compact" display size for anyone who finds Normal a bit big.
Office nudges pop up: tap the nudge chip for a big "Got it" button, and the office sees it was acknowledged in History.
History catches more: changing why a machine is down (or what it's waiting on) is logged too.
Fixed: minimizing the window while the Always-On Dashboard was on could leave Arcadia frozen or black.
Psst: there's a secret Fun Mode hidden in Settings — sound packs, confetti, click effects, arcade cursors and a bonus theme. Look closely. 👀
Smoother updates: after you click Download, Arcadia walks you through installing, with a one-click Back up and a Quit Arcadia button so the installer isn't blocked by the copy sitting in the system tray.

Feedback from the floor
Better History: every entry is labeled (part, project, task, system, contact), filter by type or by date, and quick back-to-back changes to the same part are grouped into one line.
Sign-out summaries show everything: projects, tasks, systems and contacts, not just parts.
Set an exact count: tap a part's quantity to type the real number after a shelf check.
Projects: due dates with an Overdue flag, and status moves to In Progress automatically when you log work.
Friendlier forms: dropdowns show suggestions as soon as you click, phone numbers format themselves, and email fields suggest common domains.
Pick your theme at the end of the walkthrough, and each person who signs in keeps their own theme.
Copy the dashboard address with one click, plus a "Needs attention" panel and more color on the Home screen.
Project progress for the office: the Always-On Dashboard shows each project's % complete (from logged progress) and due date.
Forgot your Passwords PIN? A one-time recovery code gets you back in, and you can optionally let Arcadia support help reset it.
Security: three wrong Passwords PINs in a row are noted in History.

Faster setup & a fresh look
Spreadsheet import: download the template from Parts → Import, fill it in with Excel or Google Sheets (machines, parts, recurring tasks), and upload it to add your whole floor at once. Duplicates and incomplete rows are skipped, and you get a report of exactly what was skipped.
Manuals live with your machines: attach a PDF manual straight to a game. Arcadia keeps its own copy, so it still opens even if the original file moves.
Getting Started walkthrough: an optional step-by-step tour with short clips for adding games, parts, tasks and the Always-On Dashboard. You can reopen it any time from Settings.
Help & support built in: contact us or report a bug right from Settings.
New look: the full Arcadia name and our new animated marquee logo throughout the app.
Vendors & Contacts in one place: vendor lookup and your saved contacts now live on a single tab.
Real installer: one click installs Arcadia with a Desktop and Start-menu shortcut. No admin rights needed.
Made for big screens: a wider layout and larger text on desktop monitors.
Fixes: the office dashboard no longer clears a form while you're typing, Save/Done buttons stay visible on long lists, and the free-trial button is readable.

Launch
Always-On Dashboard: your office can see live project and task status without walking the floor. It's secured with a PIN and keeps working even when the shop computer's screen is off.
Setup in minutes: a guided first-run screen gets a new shop up and running with no manual configuration.
Update notifications: Arcadia tells you in the app when a new version is out, so there's no digging for a download link.
Licensing: unlock Arcadia with a license key.
